i felt an update was necessary as my activity has been sporadic as of late. I am working on an extremely large traditional artwork commission. I will only be posting the highlights of it, when the project is entirely finished. Right now I am working on completing half of the project, then I will do some other commissions I have in waiting, and then finish the rest of the project. i do also have some photos sitting in my editing program waiting to be edited; but my halfway point deadline for said commission mentioned above is looming in the distance and I really need to get it done. I misjudged how long the second portion would take, very badly. I am definitely paying for it now. I decided to use pencil crayons as a medium and for the style of colouring the client wanted my finger tips are raw, bruised, and I think I’ve pinched the nerves in them. Nevertheless I have to keep plowing on until I finish…which will hopefully be on the deadline and not after. To be honest, it’s not looking all that promising. I only hope I can get there and not disappoint myself. On a side note, if you don’t mind waiting you can contact me for details about commissions, I am open for them and more than willing to put you in my queue!
In other entirely unrelated news; I saw I had a message here on tumblr and got all excited, only to find 3 spam messages from an anonymous spammer…2 of which were the same spam message. Boooo!
In partially related news; we finally got my boyfriend’s bearded dragon Maverick here, and we recently purchased a snake from a friend named Maria. When I am less busy I will be taking lots of cool pictures of them for you guys to see!
